Love the Norn becoming the Bear joke. The masks were cool, the whinning that they weren't like the past years nearly unbearable. Thank You ANet for a fun distraction this weekend and the ability to toggle off the local chat and still see what The Mad Kings Says...LOL.
Did enjoy the Costume Brawl too, nearly died laughing at the complaints of everyone having the same skills though...Isn't that still true to PvP? LOL

Thanks ANet for another enjoyable event! This is one of my faves [the others being Wintersday, Canthan New Year, The Dragon Festival and the yet-to-be-announced Eye Of The North festival xD!]
The Trick-or-Treat bags and new items [pumpkin cookie, candy corn and candy apple] were very nice additions
And of course the Mad King Thorn was entertaining as always. Being there and laughing with guildies/friends while deliberately dieing during mad kind says is ftwind...
MOAR!

I liked killing the nooblets in Brawl because they didn't know how to work their builds... Seriously, what ele loses to a warrior?!
And the 30 ToT bags per coming of the King... Yay DP removal.
Thank you ANet. :3

I loved it how people have asked for pants for the paragon and one of the mad kings jokes was about paragons having no pants like a drunk. I just wish I decided to spend more time to get free booze and sweets. At this rate I might max out those two titles when GW3 comes out.
p.s. the mummy mask looks great on warriors.

The masks were more freaky than past halloweens.

I love events like these. When else can you cash in stuff liked Feathered Caromi Scalps for alcohol? Been saving them for months.
Thanks, Anet. Trick-or-Treat bags were a nice touch too.

It was great as always
So yes good job and I will save any comments as to improvements for another thread.
The players as usual provided comic relief throughout so full marks to all of the community.

90% of GW players probably don't know what an Oxymoron was. Someone actually seriously said it was airhead retard.

" "How are a Paragon and a drunkard alike?"
"Both like to shout at strangers and run around without any pants."
"What's the difference between the Great Dwarf and the Great Destroyer?"
"One is a harbringer of the apocalypse and the other is an oxymoron."
"Why do the Norn "Become the Bear?"
"Because "Become the Arrogant Loudmouth" was already taken by the Asura."
I just saw those jokes on wiki (I spent all of Halloween mapping Elona and killing stuff in Costume Brawl, love it!) and roflmaoed soooooooo much.

Thanks Anet and keep up the good work.

I played GW for 27 months now, and this was the first Halloween event I had time to see.
First thing that amazed me, was all the details in the decorations.
Then I played the Custom Brawl, which was fun.
I simply liked the idea of using a fixed skill bar instead of using my own templates.
The CTF part of is was a neat idea as well.
Trick and Treat bag content, I like to get all the stuff that raises character stats. Always nice to have it for some HM and elite stuff.
Was in LA once when the King was there, and found that part enjoyable as well.
Most fun thou, was to run around as a candy in Ascalon Pre-Searing.
And nice to see how many new players actually started to play Guild Wars there.
Hopefully they wont get spoiled with runs
